The Future Food District is composed of a pavilion of 2,500 square meters (home of the supermarket), where visitors can learn about a more transparent food chain, helped by new technologies. The Supermarket is an innovative environment that generates new interactions between consumers, products and producers. The products are presented on large interactive tables: touch them will allow visitors to obtain additional information on products. The buying space it takes us back to a moment of meeting, as in a traditional market. The tools that the digital world offers us, are used to make "disappear" the barriers, to make fluid and comfortable the visitor experience and above all allow him for accessing to important information that would otherwise remain hidden. The Supermarket "of the future" does not see its technology center, but the man.
