Key facts & Challenges

Bow School is a £30m campus in Tower Hamlets - an area with one of the fastest growing school populations in the country. Located close to the Blackwall Tunnel, the site suffered from air and noise pollution. It was also subject to a 20% budget at a late stage in the design phase. The new school campus accommodates 1,600 pupils in a state-of-the art building which includes rooftop sports pitches, a fitness studio, theatre, dining pavilion, open classrooms and areas of open circulation. Grays Drylining appointed Siniat as it's key supply partner.

Installation phase

The unique design of the school required bespoke detailing in many parts of the building. In addition, enhanced performance targets were set for acoustic and duty ratings, and it was designed to be BREEAM 'Excellent.'
