Helping families in need

Last year our colleagues in Poland donated building materials to the Ronald McDonald Foundation and helped advise on the construction of a new house for the foundation.

The Ronald McDonald Foundation builds houses close to hospitals to give families of seriously ill children a place to stay whilst their child is hospitalised. The new house, which was opened in October 2015, is next to the University Children's Hospital of Cracow in Poland.

hosting young experts at our laboratory

Last winter we opened our Compounds Laboratory to thirty eager five-year-olds. They took part in a number of creativity sessions, where they used real building materials to make their own construction models. After their models were complete, our young experts finished off their sessions with a quick visit to our quarry at Mazan plant.
